Additional information

A representative office of foreign legal entity in Russian Federation can be opened with the permission of authorized institution - Federal state institution State Registration Chamber.

Permission is provided for the period of 1, 2 and 3 years and can be prolonged.
At the moment of submitting the application applicant recieves an invoice for a registration fee payment.

Needed documents:
-written application with the request to establish a representative office of a foreign legal entity in the Russian Federation (shall be presented in printed form, signed by an authorized person and contain the name and time of establishment, location, type of activities of a foreign legal entity, purpose and planned time of its operations in Russia as well as data about business relations with Russian partners and development prospects);
-extract from the Trade Register of the country of origin of a foreign legal entity or other document confirming the fact of registration of a foreign legal entity in accordance with the laws of the country of its location;
-articles of Association (Memorandum of Association) of a foreign legal entity (In case the legislation of the country of registration of a foreign legal entity does not provide for the Articles of Association (Memorandum of Association), please provide a document issued by an authorized body in the country of origin, which confirms the given regulation);
-resolution of a foreign legal entity regarding establishment of a representative office in the Russian Federation;
-reference letter from a foreign bank, which provides services to a foreign legal entity, confirming its solvency (this document shall be valid for 6 months from the date of issue);
-reference letters from Russian business partners (please provide at least two letters in a free from on the letterhead of a company signed by its Heads and sealed with the company’s seal);
-PoA for a representative;
-document confirming the address of a representative office of a foreign legal entity in the Russian Federation (please present a guarantee letter or lease agreement enclosed with a certified ownership certificate. In case of sublease a sublease agreement enclosed with the documents allowing sublease shall be provided if stipulated in the lease agreement).

Foreign documents shall be accepted only in case they are legalized by the consulate or certified by Apostille unless relief from these procedures is granted under international agreements of the Russian Federation and shall also be enclosed with a translation into Russian which is dully certified.
