Time frame


Normal work time cannot exceed 40 hours a week. The duration of weekly continuous leave cannot exceed 42 hours.

Employees are provided with yearly leaves of 28 calendar days with their workplace (position) and average wages still kept with them. Paid leave should be granted to an employee every year.

According to the article 120 of RF Labor Code the durations of main and additional paid types of leave are measured in days and don`t have limits. Holidays are excluded from the period of leave.

Additional information

Work time is the time when the employee according to the internal labour policy and labour contract conditions should perform the work duties.

Rest time is the time when the employee is not required to perform the work duties.

According to Paragraph 107 of the Labour Code of RF the rest time is subdivided into: breaks during the workday (shift), everyday rest (between shifts), weekends (weekly continuous rest), holidays and leaves.
