If it is found that the invention meets the criteria of patentability, the Eurasian Patent Office makes the decision to issue a Eurasian patent.
The decision to issue the Eurasian patent is preceded by the notification of the check committee that the invention (or a group of inventions) is patentable in the way it is described in the invention formula in its initial version or after the changes have been made. In this notification the applicant is also made aware which version of the invention description will be published, how large is the duty to pay for the issue of the Eurasian patent and when it should be paid.
If the invention does not meet one or more of the criteria of patentability, Eurasian Patent Office makes the decision to refuse to issue the patent.
